By examining them, the aim is to learn more about their specific characteristics. To this end, we often disregard certain other characteristics. Some aspects are highlighted, others are ignored in a certain phase of the examination.
This way we get a clearer picture about the examined aspects. However, we also have to determine the validity of the results.
