Control is goal oriented
All antecedents about the processes of systems, the measures of signals and the spaces of changes bring us back to the causes and goals of the basic model: the motion.
Motion as the basic metaphor of system behaviour suggests that we try to search for the optimal route for a change under the given circumstances and in view of the given goals.
Our goals in connection with the system are attained by using the tools of control engineering. This independent branch of system sciences is taught and summarised by extensive literature, a scientific discipline which is mentioned here for reference only, as our aim is to present the various relations.
