Once we thought of space and time as the eternal, fixed framework of the world
Based on our direct experience, this static space-time frame worked as the eternal dimension system of the known universe. This static world view was in harmony with the human relations known to be and conserved as stationary, and with the idea of a stationary society which was supported by this framework of thought.
