Decisions on both ordinary and complex actions are based on the appropriate combinations of these tools. Complex action decisions are supported by computer systems, primarily the increasingly intelligent tools of game theory. System science is an extensive and diverse system in itself, which is usually only partly understood in depth even by experts. For today’s and tomorrow’s people, it is increasingly important to have a general picture about the whole if they want to find their way around.
The issue of responsibility for machine decisions are becoming more and more problematic: it is shared between the developer, the designer and the user, but in any case it belongs to the legal concept of human responsibility. However, experience shows that human intervention is the most common source of accidents even in situations where quick decisions are critical, the analysis of the cases and further design considerations remain highly topical research directions.
