Learning covers a separate chapter in AI applications. However, it had already been used in simpler applications in relation to identification, the Kalman filter and adaptive control. Basically, learning is the analysis and recording of recurring situational shapes; so it is both a generalising and a specifying process. Its latest branch, Big Data computing, which deals with the examination of large sets of data and establishing relations among the data, and data mining, which deals with highlighting and processing the results, are methods which were absolutely unthinkable before the present stage and expected development of computer technology.
